Maven Marine Electric, LLC is the culmination of Gregg Scrudders' 40 years of marine electrical training and experience.

Gregg began his career as a USN nuclear qualified marine electrician onboard the fast attack submarine USS Ray.

​

His submarine duty was preceded by two years classroom, lab, and nuclear prototype plant studies including:

• Basic Electricity & Electronics

• Electrician's Mate "A" School

• Naval Nuclear Power School

• S3G Naval Nuclear Prototype Training​

Following his service, Gregg earned his Associate's degree in business at Broward College while working as a marine electrician at Roscioli Yachting Center and Cable Marine.

​

Gregg's career continued to advance when he became a service technician for the largest marine electrical contractor in South Florida. His knowledge and troubleshooting skills had him frequently traveling the world to assist vessels of every class.

​

Anxious for a new challenge, Gregg moved his family and opened his own marine electrical business is Stuart, FL in 2003. Seatech Marine Electric flourished in Martin, Palm Beach, and Broward counties for 7 years before succumbing to the 2009 depression. 

​

He then served as the Palm Beach Service Manager, for his previous employer, from 2010 through 2019 before parting ways to return to his strengths - onboard technical knowledge and service.
